Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

Datamynt AS (org. no. 936 017 207), Maridalsveien 163, 0461 Oslo, Norway, is the data controller for personal data processed through datamynt.no. Contact: kontakt@datamynt.no.

2. The short version

datamynt.no is a presentation site. No accounts, no tracking, no ads — we only process what you choose to send us, plus the minimum that technical operations require.

3. What we process

• Visitor statistics. We use sporløs — our own cookieless web analytics. It stores nothing on your device and collects only anonymous, aggregated numbers (page views, country, browser type). No personal data — which is why no consent is required.
• Language choice. One functional cookie (lang, value “no” or “en”, 90 days) is set only if you switch language yourself using the toggle in the menu. Without an active choice we simply read your browser language setting, and nothing is stored.
• Enquiries. If you email us or submit the contact card in the assistant, we process the name, contact details and message you provide — in order to reply. New enquiries trigger an internal Telegram notification; email lives in Google Workspace.
• Assistant chat. Messages to the assistant are processed by our own AI service (Vinket) and the underlying language model via our own gateway — message content only, and only to answer you. Chat history is stored solely in your own browser and can be deleted there. Please do not share sensitive information in the chat.
• Technical logs. IP address and request data are logged briefly on our hosting platform (Google Cloud, EU region) for security and troubleshooting.
• Fonts. The page loads fonts from Google Fonts; your browser then makes a request to Google’s servers, as with any other web request.

4. Legal basis

Replying to enquiries: GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f). Operations and security: legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f). The language cookie is strictly necessary for a feature you explicitly request, and is exempt from the consent requirement in the Norwegian Electronic Communications Act.

5. Retention

Enquiries are kept for as long as the dialogue is relevant. Technical logs are normally deleted within 30 days. The language cookie lives for 90 days in your browser; chat history exists only in your browser.

6. Sharing

We never sell data. Operational sub-processors: Google Cloud Platform (hosting, EU region) and Google Workspace (email). Internal notifications about new enquiries go via Telegram. Analytics and the assistant are our own services (sporløs and Vinket).

7. Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure and restriction, and object to processing: kontakt@datamynt.no. You can also complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
